About us
The garden centre is a social enterprise run by community members and managed by the Ability Cooperative. It exists for the benefit of disabled people and the wider community. We want the garden centre to be an important community asset which provides a relaxing, friendly environment that everyone will want to use.
The Garden Centre is fully operational and is open all year round. We have a range of plants, trees, shrubs and other garden products on offer.

Day OpportunitiesWe deliver a good quality day opportunities programme in gardening and woodwork. Supported by our trained staff and volunteers, our placement students help to produce most of the plants and woodwork items on offer at the garden centre. Our placement students get a lot out of working with us, including learning new skills, making friends and working in a relaxed atmosphere. We offer day placements to disabled people and anyone who would like to learn and share new skills.
